I PASSED!!!!!!

(Well - two out of three anyway. We'll skim over the Tax Principles exam that I failed due to having a complete mental block about the 30 mark question)

I can hardly believe it. However, it seems my revision style works so now I've got to figure out how I'm going to get fruit wine and a pagan market with some medievalesque bands for my revision in November!!

Thanks to all the people who...ahem... 'helped' me. For example the revision question based drinking games...

I REALLY thought I'd failed all three. It's amazing!

I was going to post a lengthy account of a lovely evening spent watching Marriage of Figaro on the BP screen in Trafalgar Square. However, as dr_locrian has posted such an eloquent (and uncharacteristic) entry, I decided not to bother! ;)

So I'm home once more. WGT was really amazing. So many lovely people to talk to, so many bands to see, so much absinthe to drink! hope everyone else gets home safely.

More about it soon but now unpacking, washing and sleep!

Hmmmm this post is brought to you by too much wine last night! 

Had a lovely evening with two of my best friends discussing our men dilemmas, hair emergencies, Sex in the City, fake nails and Gok Wan. Who'd have thought I'd turn out to be a girl?!!!
We also consumed two and a half bottles of wine and considering one person was driving and therefore literally just tasted it, it's not surprising I was a little tipsy!!!! However, aside from the distinct feeling I'm still a teeny bit drunk, I feel remarkably alert.


Got the last train home.


Had to restrain myself from hugging the lady opposite who was silently sobbing her heart out the entire journey while her boyfriend held her hand and slept. Was odd. :( I smiled at her a few times and she smiled back but just wanted to give her a big hug!

Anyway -at risk of sounding like Yana (and that would be no bad thing) TEA!!!

I'm not sure if I'm posting because I don't think anyone will bother coming or not... Anyhoo, my folk trio will be playing Upton Folk Festival, Upton-upon-Severn (near Worcester I think!!!) on Monday 5th May at 12.30. I'm not sure how the tickets work as it's a weekend of folk fun and I can't find day tickets. I do however get passes...!!!! I've still not worked out if I want people to come or not....!!!!!! *scared*

Be warned - there will be morris dancing! ;)

Ps - yes I KNOW it's before my exams and yes I also know it's the week before WGT and therefore I really ought to be studying but my mummy said it's ok. Think she'd prefer me to be an impoverished folk musician than an accountant!

To those of you off to Whitby - have a fabulous time. I'm as jealous as anything but I will be dutifully studying instead! Hope it's all marvellous and lovely for you. 

I'm getting a bit worried about WGT. The idea of being by myself amongst all those goths scares me!!!  Still - it should be character-building! lol

Choir concert was yesterday and it was surprisingly good. Still not enough people in the audience but we and they seem to enjoy it so all is good!

Today I'm being annoyed at people who can't spell "definitely" and my cousin's parakeets which are staying with us and this morning decided to start squawking at about 6. *shudder*

Oh - yesterday, thanks to the guardian crossword, I learnt that another word for segments of oranges (or apples etc) is "pig". I can't wait to use that in conversation!!

Right - off to get some tea and then studying.
